Agreement to International Stanborough School’s Booking Terms and Conditions

By completing and delivering an Application Form (either electronic or a hard copy) the Client is agreeing to the following Booking Terms and Conditions.

Payment

A non-refundable deposit of a hundred (100) pounds is required forty-eight (48) hours after the service is requested from International Stanborough School in writing by the Client. Failure by the Client to secure a deposit will result in cancellation of service.


Balance of payment is required seven (7) weeks before the commencement of service; or in case of a reservation being less than seven (7) weeks prior to the commencement of service, immediately upon request of service from International Stanborough School.

Changes

Request for changes to the service must be in writing from the Client. Changes may incur an additional charge, which the Client will be advised of in writing within forty-eight hours (48) of the request. The Client will be responsible for payment of any additional charges as a result of such requests. Payment for changes must be made to International Stanborough School within forty-eight (48) hours of notification to the Client in writing. Failure by the Client to secure payment for changes requested will result in cancellation of changes.

In the event that International Stanborough School makes any changes to the Client’s service arrangements, the Client may accept the changes. Alternatively, the Client may suggest alternative arrangements or cancel the service and receive a full refund off all monies paid. The Client can request a refund up to five (5) weeks after the change was notified and the service cancelled.

Cancellation

In the event that the Client cancels its reservation within seven (7) weeks before commencement of service, Stanborough International School shall be entitled to retain twenty-five percent (25%) of the total amount due by the Client in addition to the cost of any third party booking made on behalf of the Client. If the Client cancels its reservation within three (3) weeks of service, Stanborough International School shall be entitled to retain the full amount due. The Client can request a refund up to five (5) weeks after the cancellation has been notified.

If any cancellation by the Client brings the number of paying students below the minimum number required for a given price or set of concessions for accompanying staff, the service price and concessions will be adjusted accordingly and/or supplementary payment may be requested from the client.

In the event that International Stanborough School cancels its service, the Client shall be entitled to a full refund of all money received by International Stanborough School. Excluded in this refund are changes owing to force majeure*, where no refunds or compensation will be offered. Each party must confirm notification of cancellation in writing to the other party, within forty-eight (48) hours of verbal notice.

Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for completion of passport formalities and any other personal arrangements which may be necessary such as visa, currency and medical requirements and for ensuring that all members of the party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documentation and insurance before departure. All costs incurred in the obtaining of such documentation and insurance must be paid by the Client with the only exception of the mailing cost by ordinary post of the invitation letters that Stanborough International School will send, upon request and receipt of the necessary information, to the Client for presentation at embassies.

In the event of a member of the Client’s party behaving in such a way as is likely (in the reasonable opinion of International Stanborough School of any person(s) in authority) to cause offence, damage or distress to others, International Stanborough School reserves the right to terminate that member’s service arrangements and the member will not be liable to complete the service arrangements and will not be liable for any refund, compensation, or any other cost paid. The Client must further ensure that all party members observe all local laws and regulations which apply to the Client’s home country as well as local regulations.

Complaints

In the event of any dissatisfaction, complaints should be addressed immediately to the Camp Coordinator of International Stanborough School. If the Client remains dissatisfied, the complaint should be given in writing to the Director of International Stanborough School within seven (7) days. Upon receipt of your written notification, a reply will be given within seven (7) days.

*Force Majeure: This means we will not pay compensations if we have to cancel or change your service arrangements in any way for reasons beyond our control. Events beyond our control include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, fire, epidemics, health risks, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events.
